Credit score
Your score out of 900, and what is actually dragging it down.
Most apps show you a number. A number on its own tells you nothing you can act on. Finsa reads your Equifax report and breaks the score into the six weighted factors behind it, so you know which one to work on first and roughly what it is worth.
Knowing your score is not the useful part. Knowing which factor is costing you is.
How it works
- 01
Check free, in about two minutes
Name, mobile, and an OTP you verify yourself. Checking is free and is a soft enquiry, so it never affects your credit score.
- 02
See the six factors
Payment history, credit utilisation, EMI burden, recent enquiries, credit age and mix, and any overdue accounts — each scored and weighted, each explained plainly.
- 03
Refresh it monthly
Lenders report to the bureau monthly. Finsa lets you refresh once a calendar month, from the 10th, which is when the new data has actually landed.
Questions people ask
- Does checking my credit score lower it?
- No. Finsa runs a soft enquiry, which is visible only to you and never affects your score. What does affect it is applying to several lenders directly in a short window — each of those is a hard enquiry that stays on your file.
- Which bureau does Finsa use?
- Equifax. You see the same 300–900 score lenders see when they assess you.
- Is it really free?
- Yes. No card, no subscription, no trial. Finsa is paid a commission by the lender if you eventually take a loan through it, which is why the check costs you nothing.
- What is a good credit score in India?
- Above 750 is generally treated as strong and gets you the widest choice of lenders and the better rates. Between 650 and 750 you will usually still be approved, but priced higher. Below 650 the options narrow considerably.
- The bureau has something wrong on my report. What now?
- You can correct EMI, rate and tenure inside Finsa so your analysis is accurate. Correcting the bureau's own record has to be raised with Equifax directly, and the app shows you how.
