Personal loan
Personal loan offers, not one bank's quote. One soft check. No fee from Finsa.
Check your Equifax report free, and RBI-regulated banks and NBFCs send you offers with the rate, the EMI and every fee on each lender's Key Fact Statement. Compare them on APR, take the one you want, and the lender pays it into your bank account — some the same day for salaried profiles with digital KYC. Finsa charges no processing fee and no fee of any kind.
The pre-approved rate from your salary-account bank is its first quote, not your lowest one.
In short
Through Finsa, a personal loan starts with one free soft check of your Equifax report; RBI-regulated banks and NBFCs then send offers with the rate, EMI and every fee on their Key Fact Statement, you compare on APR and pick, and the lender pays into your bank account. Finsa is not a lender and charges no processing fee and no fee of any kind.
How it works
- 01
Check your credit report
Free, and it takes about two minutes. Checking is free and is a soft enquiry, so it never affects your credit score. You see your Equifax score out of 900 and the six things moving it — which is exactly what every lender is about to look at.
- 02
Offers arrive with the real numbers
Your profile goes to RBI-regulated banks & NBFCs at once. Each offer names the lender and carries its Key Fact Statement: the rate, the EMI, the processing fee if any, the foreclosure terms — folded into one annual percentage rate you can compare across offers.
- 03
Pick one, or none
Sign with the lender you choose; it completes KYC and pays the loan into your bank account. Rates and terms are the lender's to set, not ours, and there is no Finsa fee at any step.
Questions people ask
- What interest rate will I get?
- It depends on your credit score first, then how much of your income already goes to EMIs, your employer, and the amount and tenure you ask for. Two people on the same salary can be quoted rates far apart, which is why the only rate that matters is the one on your own Key Fact Statement, and why seeing several offers beats taking the first. What decides your rate →
- How much personal loan can I get?
- Lenders size it from the EMI you can carry after the EMIs you already pay, usually keeping the total under about half of your net monthly income, and turn that EMI into an amount over the tenure you choose. How much on your salary →
- What documents do I need?
- PAN, Aadhaar or another address proof, the last three months' salary slips and six months of bank statements. Self-employed borrowers use two years of ITRs and business proof instead of salary slips. PAN and Aadhaar are verified digitally in minutes. The full list →
- How fast is the money in my account?
- Checking your report is about two minutes. For salaried borrowers with digital KYC and an e-mandate, some lenders decide in minutes and disburse the same day; cases that need documents read by hand take a few working days. Speed is the lender's process, not ours. What instant really means →
- Can salaried employees and self-employed people both apply?
- Yes. Salaried employees are assessed on salary credits and employer; self-employed borrowers on income-tax filings, bank statements and business proof, and their pricing varies more between lenders, which makes comparing offers matter more. Personal loans for the self-employed →
- Does applying through Finsa affect my credit score?
- No. Checking is free and is a soft enquiry, so it never affects your credit score. A hard enquiry is only recorded if you go ahead with a lender you have chosen — and applying to several banks yourself, each doing its own hard check, is what damages a score.
- Is Finsa the one lending me the money?
- No. Finsa is not a bank or an NBFC. The lender you choose approves the loan, sets the rate and disburses straight to your bank account — Finsa never holds your funds.
- Does Finsa charge a processing fee?
- Finsa charges no processing fee and no fee of any kind: the credit report, the offers and the match are free to the borrower. Finsa is paid by the lender on disbursal. Any processing fee of the lender's own is shown on its Key Fact Statement before you sign, and you can compare offers on that. Zero-fee offers, explained →
